And click on over here. Puleeez? I know you can, because I just tested the link in my Blogger Dashboard, and it works.

I confess, I’m spazzing out right now – with excitement. Do you know why?
Because I’ve totally transferred to WordPress! This little (ahem) project has taken the majority of my spare computer time for the last two-and-a-half weeks, (and taken quite a bit of work). However, it’s definitely worth it.

I would love to hear what you think of the site. :) Take a second and look around. {If it doesn’t appear right on your computer, please shoot me an email, won’t you? I’d appreciate it.}

The run-down: New Features:
Categories You can now read different categories of posts. I’ll be posting more often, just in different categories. So yes.
Merged CS Designs, my web design site is in the process of being merged with this blog. It’s so much easier to have to only worry about one blog. I also want to scale down the amount of “makeovers” I do, and rather than advertising it as a “business”, web design will be more of a hobby. This way, I can devote my time to learning, rather than repeating the same makeover twenty times again. ;) Read more here.
Guest Posts/Contributers Need I say more?

This is the baby stage, so to speak. I still have tweaking and uploading to do on the site. As promised, you can still follow me via Google Friend Connect. It just isn’t displayed quite as prominently, nor is the followers gadget on the homepage.
Why?
I don’t want the “amount of followers I have” to be my motivation or purpose for blogging.

I told you all a few months ago that I’d be having more fun blogging, correct? This is an installment on that promise to myself and to you.
And that, my friends, is something very exciting.

Opinions? Glitches? Want to yell at me for switching to WordPress? Go for it. :)

Oscar time! I’m currently watching the red carpet live on MTV. And the dresses tonight? They more than compensate for the Grammy red carpet. Hurrah! Let’s take a peep at some of my favorites…
Hailee Steinfeld has the best taste. Ever. Love this dress! It’s very, very classy and gorgeous.
Florence Welch actually wore something I loved. Isn’t this cute? The color goes with her hair amazingly well. What do you think?
Okay, a little low, and a little see-through. But Mila Kunis’ dress is so pretty. Especially the color.
Cate Blanchett – always classy. The yellow on the back (you can sorta see it in this photo) is really fun. Altogether, pretty awesome dress.
Chin up Helena, you look awesome! She sort of has that Victorian/Steampunk/Gothic thing going. Only she could pull it off.
Other loves: Sandra Bullock looked gorgeous. She always does. Nicole Kidman looked awesome too. And Natalie Portman looked amazing, as usual.
Fails: Michelle Williams was sort of ehhh, for me. The white dress she wore really really made her look pale and drawn. She would have done so much better in a darker color – maybe something blue or pink.
What do you think? Did you watch the Oscars? What were your favorite red carpet looks?
(I can’t wait to hear yours, Leanna.) <<< We’re “betting” on which star we’ll disagree on. Because we’re awesome like that.

Last night, I was going over my high school transcript to see how many credits I need to graduate. Essentially, I was trying to plan out what courses I’m going to take next year.
Next year, I’ll be a senior.
Isn’t that insane? I feel like I just started high school three years ago…
Oh wait, I did start high school three years, ago. This girl doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

No, seriously. I only need four more credits in order to graduate. Unfortunately, graduating, for me, is a bit difficult. I have to fulfill the minimum course requirements for both my online high school, which is in another state, and the course requirements for our homeschooling group in my home state.
They both require 21 credits.

Gosh – I wish it were that simple. I think I can squeak by on the Christian service requirement for my homeschooling group. After all, I acolyte at my church at least twice a month, if not more. And I’ve been doing that for eight years.
That’s got to count for something, don’t you think?

There is one little requirement that I’m not so sure about. American History. Yes, yes, I know my American history, I’m not saying that I don’t.  The only reason I’m not taking the class in high school is because I took it in eighth grade. And taking two years of one subject isn’t all that fun, is it now? Unless it’s an especially enlightening course like Algebra.
(Which of course, as we all know, is incredibly enlightening. Possibly genius.)
(Read the above as sarcasm, please.)

(I know – this is an older picture. At the same time though, it’s rather enlightening. Just like these blades of grass are looking forward to spring, we’re also looking ahead in this post. Didn’t that sound corny?)

That is my dilemma for the next week. Do I take American History again? I think I’m going to contact the group and see if I can squeeze my way out of that requirement using my eighth grade transcript.
Do wish me luck, won’t you? I might need it.

I must say, it’s positively refreshing to choose new courses, even if you’re still knee deep in your junior year classes. Wouldn’t you agree?

The title of this post is looking ahead. It not only applies to my previous discussion of schoolwork, but also to Farmgirl Writes. Looking into the crystal ball of blog-futures, I see a whole new site in it’s future. However, this new site won’t be hosted on Blogger.com. This is why you haven’t seen me lately. I’ve been fooling with WordPress way too much for my own good.
Scratch that.
I’ve been living and breathing WordPress code for the last two weeks.

I promise – you all will still be able to read me from your Blogger dashboards. There will be more to read as well. I have lots and lots of (good) surprises up my sleeve. ;)
Are you as excited as I am?

Today, I spent an enormous amount of time outside. Not that this fact is anything to write any entire post about. Neither is the fact that I spent most of that time barefoot.
In the middle of February? Pretty awesome, ain’t it?
It’s hard to believe that it was seventy degrees outside today. I’m thrilled, actually. I, for one, am pretty much done with this snowraincoldstuffthatfallsoutofthesky.

Moving on – have you missed me this week? I know I’ve missed me this week.
(Wait, did I just seriously say that?)
Besides school, which I know you don’t want to hear about, I’ve been eating cake, taking pictures, and doing school.
Oh wait, you didn’t want to hear about school. My poor brain…
It didn’t want to hear about school either.
In the midst of all that awesomeness, (and not-so-awesomeness), I also managed to go thrift shopping and find a boatload of incredible clothes for less than thirty dollars.
The above definitely qualifies as awesomeness. Wouldn’t you agree?

I’ve also discovered Chictopia (thanks, Olivia!), swapped for an awesome sweater on said site (thanks, Olivia!), and received the said sweater in the mail today (thanks, Olivia!).
It made my day. No lie.

Have I bored you enough with the goings-on in my life this week? Ah, I know. You’re trying to find the giveaway part of the post, aren’t ya? :) Yes, I can read your mind. Thanks for asking.
So yes.
Because I love you all, you can head over here to my design site to find a $30 CSN code giveaway!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you too. ;)
