My name is Amanda. I’m a 20-something college graduate making her way in the world. Formerly of D.C., currently located in Boston.
I have a special love of all things literary and theological, especially when they occur together. My friends often call me with questions about how to find things in the library, and if there are large gaps in the Virginia Woolf section, then it’s probably my fault. What can I say? I will always be a proud English major.
I am an occasional web designer, graphic designer, photographer and web consultant. I am a vicarious reader, most especially when it comes to detective fiction. This little blog has been through a lot of iterations since it was first founded in 2008 (although you will not find any posts of that vintage available for your… curiosity). However, you still can dig through much of my web archive if you choose to take on such an arduous task.
I am an introvert. I prefer discussions over coffee to large parties, and if I have a quiet evening in, I’m probably reading. My favorite “person” in my life is this little one – my sweet Opal. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ve probably met Opal through pictures. She’s the sweetest cat, and enjoys sleeping on my head when I get home. I look forward to the day when I can bring her to live with me. (That way, she can stop opening doors (yes) and waking up my family in the middle of the night…)
